OAU SUG Social Director Stabbed And Vice President Hospitalized After Fight Over N3.8 Million

It has been reported that two Student Union Government executives of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU Ile-Ife were seriously injured following a fight that broke out over the disbursement of N3.8 million.

It was gathered that the fight occurred on Tuesday, 5th of September, during a meeting of the SUG executives to decide on how to use the N3,8 million given to them by the school’s management for projects within the school. And during the meeting that reportedly held in the SUG President’s office, the executives offered suggestions on projects that needed attention but a disagreement ensued as a result and the SUG vice president, Ms Tosin Jacob, allegedly stabbed the SUG social director Mr Adebayo Emmanuel on his arm and in retaliation he, in headbutted her, landing her in the hospital.
